Sneak Preview: Web 2.0 Sites for ICFL and WebJunction Idaho

Looking for a way to keep up and stay connected to the library community without hSyringaaving to leave town?  And have fun while you are at it?

Then join us for a sneak preview of the new Idaho Commission for Libraries' website and WebJunction Idaho.  We'll show you all the bells and whistles right from your own desktop computer!

Amazing but true!  By using Wimba's online virtual meeting space, you'll be connected to librarians throughout Idaho in a lively, interactive session that will take the mystery out of new technology.

In one hour, you'll come away from the session having a working knowledge of the Wimba online technology and be able to navigate through the new IFCL 2.0 website. You'll also know how to how to access the online courses through WebJunction Idaho.  These aren't just any online course, but are targeted to library staff's needs.  Better yet, course costs are picked up the ICFL.

Once registered, you will receive an email which links to the Wimba Wizard.  Run the Wizard early in the week before the workshop to make sure you can access the meeting room.  The only special hardware needed will be a headphone microphone.  If your library doesn't have one, check the box on the registration form and ICFL will drop one in the mail to you.
